Co-developing a vision for sustainable development in the Llanos de Moxos, Bolivia

Radiosparkscomschematics Indexbandpass Filters9 29 2016 This 18-month project employs NatCap's well-tested participatory process to build support for a more sustainable development pathway by co-producing knowledge of ecosystem services and the benefits they bring to communities in collaboration with scientists, policy experts, and leaders in the Llanos de Moxos region in Beni, Bolivia. Collaborators: Center for Research in Biodiversity and the Environment at the Autonomous University of Beni, Wildlife Conservation Society, Bolivia, FaunAgua, Armonía, Department for Archaeology of the Americas at the University of Bonn.

The Challenge

This information is then used to find good trade-offs between Nepal's wish to develop more renewable hydropower and possible impacts of dams on rivers and people.

Optimizing Forest & Landscape Restoration, Colombia (Cartagena, Bucaramanga, Cucuta)

Atlas Lighting Wiring Diagrams Identified reforestation areas based on ecosystem services and their benefits to people. Co-developed and applied the Restoration Opportunities Optimization Tool (ROOT), an ecosystem service software tool, to identify restoration opportunities that provide the greatest benefits at the lowest cost. Published the analysis for these 6 cities as part of The Nature Conservancy's 2017 report titled Beyond the Source: The environmental

Land-Use Decision Making & Water Quality, Narragansett Bay, RI, USA

35 Hp Johnson Wiring Diagram Conducting stakeholder engagement and modeling of land use decisions on surface and marine water quality. Project goals include estimating the recreational and non-use value impacts of future land use scenarios in a large watershed that crosses State boundaries and providing guidance to prioritize conservation activity. Collaborators: Massachusetts Audubon, University of Rhode Island.

Financial Incentives & Rangeland Management, Cañete Basin, Peru

Surface Mount Rj45 Jack Wiring Diagram Working to prioritize investments in their new national Rewards for Environmental Services program, a financial incentives system aiming to improve rangeland management to promote freshwater services and livestock productivity. Collaborators: International Center for Tropical Agriculture, Cañete Basin stakeholders.

Payments for Ecosystem Services, Ankang City, China

Wire Diagrams For 97 F150 Working to provide analysis of Payment for Ecosystem Services (PES) programs across China, such as the Sloping Land Conversion Program (SLCP). This work is providing feedback to the Chinese government that will be used to calculate future subsidy payments to millions of rural families. Partners: Stanford University, Chinese National Academy of Sciences.  Collaborator:  Xian Jiatong University.
